Eight ladies representing over thirty years of captaincy of the Ladies Section enjoyed a perfect day of golf and friendship at this year’s Past Captains Day. Playing a Stableford competition over 15 holes, the greens proved tricky, but not for Mel Smith, who claimed the Clareston Trophy with an impressive 34 points.
Thanks to our greens staff for the excellent course conditions, and to The Links Restaurant who hosted eleven ladies for a wonderful lunch where everyone enjoyed catching up and sharing memories.
A treasured tradition that brings together past leaders and celebrates the friendships that make our club so special. Congratulations to Mel on her victory.
