I want to extend a huge thank you to all the players who braved some challenging conditions to participate in our event. It would have been easy to sit it out, but I was thrilled to see so many of you take part.

- Chris Stevens: Longest Drive on the 7th White Tee
The Captains team finished a commendable 4th place with a net score of 56.
In the evening, we had 90 members and guests join us for a fantastic BBQ and light entertainment.
I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge a few key people:
- Brian Jones and his wife Gilly for their support
- Brendon for his outstanding contribution on the day
- Duncan the Chef for the excellent food
- All the restaurant staff, office team, and Greenkeepers for their help
- A special thank you to my wife Theresa for her unwavering support and for serving players from the tent on the 10th
The event successfully raised over £1,200 for the club charity.
