Tenby Ladies enjoyed a memorable day at Newport Links Golf Club on Wednesday 10 June as they competed in the Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire (C&P) County Stableford. The Newport course provided a wonderful test of golf, with bright sunshine, a lively coastal breeze and some of the finest views in Welsh golf.
There was fantastic news for Tenby when Veronica Davies was crowned Overall Winner, claiming the County Stableford title against a strong field from across Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
There was further success for the club as Alison Daniel secured an excellent Runner-Up finish in Division 1, completing a strong showing for the Tenby contingent.
Congratulations to Vee on a superb victory and to Alison on her excellent result and well done also to all the Tenby ladies who represented the club so positively.
