Members and friends of Tenby Golf Club turned out in great numbers to support Club Captain Heather Morgan at this year’s Halloween Charity Quiz in aid of Paul Sartori.

Quizmaster Richard Ormond kept everyone on their toes with eight rounds of tricky questions. From “the Welsh name for Saundersfoot” to “the highest mountain outside the Himalayas,” many teams found themselves stumped!

One team, however, stormed ahead, Cactus If You Can’ claiming victory by an impressive 14 points. In a generous gesture, the winning team donated their prize money back to the charity.

Congratulations to Diana Dredge, Diane Gough, Simon Gough, Donna Kenney, Rebecca Naden and Alison Daniel.

Guests also enjoyed a delicious Mexican-themed meal prepared by the new Head Chef, Scott Edwards, and his talented kitchen team, with the bar staff ensuring glasses were kept full throughout the night.

Special thanks go to Diana Dredge and the marketing team for securing a full house, and to Richard Ormond for giving up his valuable time to compile such a brilliant quiz.

The total amount raised for Paul Sartori will be announced shortly.
