In a display of community support, our Ladies Section recently visited the Tenby Lifeboat Station to present a generous donation. The newly appointed Coxswain, Lisa Viggers, expressed her gratitude for the remarkable £2,100 contribution made to the station.

The donation was made as part of “The Lady Captain’s Charity,” with past Captain Sarah Waring proudly handing over the cheque on behalf of the Ladies Section.

The event was attended by current Ladies Captain, Gill John, her Vice Captain, Penny Cope, and Helen Hughes, who is set to be Penny’s vice.

Adding a personal touch to the occasion, Sarah Waring’s son, Jack Waring, a crew member at the lifeboat station, also joined the group for the photo.

The donation will support the vital work carried out by the Tenby Lifeboat Station, further strengthening the bond between the golf club and the lifesaving team.
