Meet Rhys Harry
Head PGA Teaching Professional
Rhys Harry is a highly respected PGA Professional with over 16 years of coaching experience. He was recognised as a top 10 student at the European Centre of Excellence and, in 2010, was awarded GDW Welsh Professional of the Year, highlighting his early impact on the game.
Between 2011 and 2018, Rhys played a key role in elite player development as a Performance Coach for the Golf Union of Wales and Golf Coach for Dyfed County, working with many outstanding amateur and professional golfers. In 2020, Rhys chose to step away from county commitments to focus fully on private coaching and to support the redevelopment and growth of Tenby Golf Club’s coaching facilities.
Rhys is passionate about helping players of all standards improve, from beginners to elite competitors, and believes that investing in coaching and modern technology leads to greater enjoyment and long-term progress in the game.

Meet Dan Jakeway
Assistant PGA Teaching Professional
New to the coaching team at Tenby, Dan delivers one-to-one coaching for players of all abilities, from beginners to experienced golfers looking to lower scores and improve consistency.
He adopts a person-centred coaching approach, ensuring every session is tailored to the individual needs, goals and ability level of each golfer. Dan has a particular passion for short game and putting, areas he believes are fundamental to scoring well and maximising enjoyment of the game.
Whether refining specific aspects of technique, developing short game and putting skills, or providing bespoke custom fitting across a wide range of products, Dan works closely with players to build consistency, reinforce strong fundamentals and help them achieve their golfing goals as efficiently as possible.
