On Monday, young golf talent Nel showcased her impressive skills at the Welsh School Championship held at Cradoc Golf Club, clinching the best net prize.
Despite encountering challenges, including an 8 on the 16th hole, Nel finished just one over par. Her performance on the back nine was particularly noteworthy, featuring three birdies and a crucial 12-foot par-saving putt on the final hole. This victory may secure Nel a spot on the Wales Schools team for the third consecutive year.
Another promising golfer, Tenby member Jemma Nand Lal, also competed, posting scores of 91 and 83.
