Tenby Golf Club is set to welcome young golfers to its Junior Open Day on Tuesday 12 August 2025, offering an exciting day of competition for players under the age of 18 as of 1 January 2025.
The event features multiple categories to accommodate a range of skill levels:
Boys (0-24 Handicap): 18 holes, White Tee Medal format
Girls (0-36 Handicap): 18 holes, Red Tee Medal format
Boys (25-36 Handicap): 18 holes, Yellow Tee Stableford format
Mixed (37-54 Handicap): 9 holes, Black Tee Stableford format
Non-handicap players: 5-hole White Flag Challenge
Entry fees are set at £15 for 18-hole events, £10 for the 9-hole competition, and £5 for the 5-hole challenge.
All participants will receive food upon completing their round.
A highlight of the day will be the competition for the Barbara Shaw Memorial Cup, awarded to the best gross medal round for both male and female participants. Each winner will also receive a £25 voucher for the Tenby Pro Shop, generously donated by the Tenby Golf Foundation.
