The Mixed Section is excited to launch this year’s Pairs Winter League!
Who can enter?
Any pair combination, mixed, two men or two ladies.
Entry fee:
£30 per pair (covers all 3 formats).
Competition dates:
Runs over 3 months (December–February). Each pair plays one qualifying round per month (on any day, but please avoid Saturdays if possible). If you don’t play in a given month, your score will be recorded as zero for that format.
Handicaps:
Half the combined total of the pair’s course handicaps.
Prizes:
Monthly prizes for the best Stableford score (number of prizes depends on entries).
Overall prize for the best combined Stableford total across all three formats.
Formats:
December – 2 Ball Texas Scramble Stableford (6 drives each)
January – Greensomes Stableford (6 drives each)
February – Chapman Foursomes Stableford
(Both players drive; 2nd shot is with each other’s ball; then choose one ball and play alternate shots to finish).
Tees:
Men – yellow tees | Ladies – red tees
Score entry:
Scores must be entered in the Pro Shop. If closed, use the score sheet on the Mixed notice board in the foyer (outside the changing rooms). Results will then be transferred to the Pro Shop sheet.
Entry deadline:
Wednesday 26 November, sign up and pay your £30 entry fee in the Pro Shop.
