On 29 December, the Tenby Mixed Section hosted their Annual Charity Mixed Greensomes in support of the Paul Sartori Foundation and the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association.
The event was blessed with glorious weather, featuring bright sunshine and calm conditions, ideal for golf. The high scores reflected the playing conditions, with any team scoring below 40 points left out of contention. Even four pairs who achieved 40 points missed out on prizes.
Results:
- 4th Place: Treveyne Keohane and Mick Seal, scoring 40 points (22 on the back nine) – £10 each.
- 3rd Place: Angie Gottwaltz and Roger Schooling, with 41 points – £20 each.
- 2nd Place: Sarah Phillips and Dave Morris, long-time clubhouse leaders, with 42 points – £30 each.
- Winners: Anna and Steve Sutcliffe, also scoring 42 points, secured victory through a last three-hole countback – £40 each.
Congratulations to the winners!
The clubhouse buzzed with excitement during the prize presentation, with many members turning out to celebrate the day’s success.
