Thursday 11 June may have dawned dull and murky, but it certainly didn’t dampen spirits as the ladies of Langland Bay Golf Club Ltd and Tenby Golf Club came together for the fourth annual TenLand Trophy.
This year’s match was played on home turf at Tenby, with plenty of good golf, friendly rivalry and laughter throughout the day. After a hard fought contest, the Tenby ladies were delighted to retain the Shield in fine style.
A huge thank you goes to Lady Captain Helen and Langland’s Vice Captain Paula for organising the day so well, which is no small task when trying to keep everyone in the right place at the right time!
Thanks also to the greens team for presenting the course so beautifully despite the weather, and to The Links Restaurant for a fabulous post match meal.
What started as a grey day certainly ended on a friendship high.
