Tenby Women’s Golf Team rose to the challenge set by the West Wales Ladies Golf Association at the picturesque Newport Links, Pembrokeshire. The Presidents Cup is a prestigious 27-hole medal competition, with prizes awarded for:

Glorious Conditions and Great Golf
With the Pembrokeshire coast bathed in sunshine, the Tenby team embraced a perfect May day for golf. After fuelling up with hearty bacon butties at the clubhouse, the morning’s 18 holes were completed by early afternoon, with scores running close at the top. The final 9 holes proved a true test, with only the most determined taking on the full challenge.

Pam Wareham claimed the Best 18-Hole Gross with an excellent round.

Donna Kenney finished 3rd in the Best 27-Hole Net competition.

Alison Daniel shone brightest, securing the Presidents Cup with the top 27-hole gross score.
A Day to Remember
