The latest round of the West Wales Past Captains was held at Carmarthen on Friday 25 July.

The society comprises members from Tenby, Carmarthen, Haverfordwest, Cardigan Neath and Pennard. There was a strong field of 30 with five players from Tenby. Weather conditions for the day were great for golf and many commented that they had never seen the course in such good condition.

Hospitality as ever was what you would expect from Carmarthen. Austin Davies reigned supreme winning the individual with 41 points and was part of the successful team alongside Chris Jones from Carmarthen and Baden Evans from Neath with a score of 79; two out of three scores for each hole.
