A breezy morning on the links provided some challenging conditions for the Tenby Seniors’ 15-hole competition, held ahead of their Annual General Meeting.

The course was in excellent condition, although the wind made the greens even quicker than usual. Despite the testing conditions, some excellent scores were returned.

Club President Chris Beecher finished third with 28 points, followed by Mike Disney in second place with 29 points. Taking the overall honours was Mick Seal with an impressive 30 points.

Following the competition, players joined the committee in The Links Restaurant for the AGM and the presentation of trophies from the season’s competitions. The afternoon concluded with a very enjoyable meal prepared by the restaurant team.

Retiring Captain Martin Spurin delivered a well-received report, reflecting on a highly successful season for the Seniors section. His outstanding contribution and hard work throughout the year were warmly acknowledged by those present. Martin now hands over the captaincy to Tony Andrews, who takes up the role for the coming season.
